Worth the Trek: Tacoma Rainiers Baseball Game

Weekend with the Rainiers:

A few weeks back, The Fearey Group invited Jeff and I to a special influencer’s night at Cheney Stadium. The Tacoma Rainiers baseball team plays at the newly renovated Cheney stadium. It’s equipped with amazing food vendors, a rooftop style bar and awesome areas for family and friends to hangout. At the beginning of our night, the group had a quick chat with club president Aaron Artman, who mentioned that they aimed to make the new stadium a ’boutique style area.’ He was totally right in this explanation! We were able to tour the entire venue, head out on the field and even received complimentary food and drink from all vendors in the stadium. Everything was absolutely phenomenal!

Triple A All Stars Game:

This July, the Tacoma Rainiers are hosting the greatly anticipated Triple-A All-Star Game – an awesome event to bring the whole family!! I will definitely be back to Cheney Stadium – even if it’s just for the food and drinks 🙂 Check out my pictures from the night to see how truly amazing this place is:

Make it a Weekend:

Don’t forget to check out the Triple A All-Star Game at Cheney Stadium THIS JULY! Oh, and if you’re wondering where the good food and drinks are … make your way over to the R Bar in left field. Snag a cocktail and get some Greek food … and a warm cookie and milk for dessert :). Our suggestion – bring your friends or family and make a weekend out of it! We know that Tacoma can be quite the trek from Seattle, so why not swing in for a game then head out with your people for a weekend away? If you need a place to go … Hood Canal is real close and always a sweet spot in the summer!

Anyone else a baseball fan and been to the new Cheney Stadium?

  1. Last year while visiting Seattle with my overseas family we desperately wanted to see a baseball game. I sure did not want to fight the traffic around the Mariners stadium so we opted for the Tacoma Rainiers. We were staying on one of the islands near by so it was a perfect choice. I was so impressed, family athmosphere, easy parking, just a great evening outting with small children. I’m a bit baseball spoiled, used to live in Boston and Los Angeles, but I highly recommend this great park!

And thanks for the follow on Instagram! @buffalogirlsdesign
    Cheers!
